COMMERCIAL WATCHDOG PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Commercial Watchdog Standard Equipment: 500 gallon poly tank, 20 gallon poly foam cell, 100ft. X 1.5" hose, pressure treated wood platform, cedar cabinet with double wide front doors and full access lid, built-in hose tray, brass and stainless steel fitting, skid frame, 9 HP Davey Darley pump, mixer and nozzle, ball valve, powder coated for durability, attaches to any hose bib, hydrant compatible, drafting port, efficient high pumping capability.

Fire Boss® Hose: The toughest spun polyester hose in the Mercedes Textiles arsenal is made even more durable with the addition of yellow Permatek®, a specifically formulated treatment which increases abrasion and heat resistance, while providing high visability and reduced water absorption. This hose features the exclusive Mertex® lining method.

Davey Darley Two-Stage Pump: 9.0 HP Briggs & Stratton OHV Vanguard w/recoil start, weighs approximately 60 lbs. And is a high efficiency, engine driven self-priming pump. Design features include: marine grade aluminum casing, 3-way discharge port, zinc plated casing bolts, mechanical shaft seal, nitrile rubber seal and casing "O" rings, self-priming up to 19 feet, easy installation, compact and lightweight, high pumping efficiency, low oil protection.

Feather-Lite™ Ball Shutoff Valves: Features simple external adjustment of seats and a full 1.5" waterway and co-polymer balls. Compact size makes them ideal as positive shutoffs have break-apart capacity when changing twist style nozzles or adding hose. Valves operate freely at 600 psi and are tested to 1,000 psi. Horseshoe (with full time swivel) valve handles are powder color coded for easy thread size identification.

QuikAtak System: System is a 1-1/4 gallon container application device for fire blocking gel.This system can be put into action in less than 2 minutes and it is user friendly. The nozzle is an end of the line application system that gives you mobility and flexibilty. Simply connect the nozzle to the desired hose and attach the container of fire blocking gel concentrate and you are ready to go. The operating pressure is 70 to 100 psi at the nozzle. This system comes complete with its own cleaning tool and instructions.

Fire Blocking Gel: Comes in 5 gallon buckets for commercial use and cases of 4-1.25 gallon containers for residential use. This product provides a unique thermal protective coating and is extremely effective in protecting structures, vehicles, trees, brush and glass from radiant heat, direct flames, flying debris and burning embers.

AtakPak System: This system uses a soft canvas backpack and a specifically engineered eductor/nozzle assembly to provide you with an exciting new tool for fire suppression and exposure protection. This system is an end of the line application technique that allows for flexibility, mobility and rapid deployment. It easily adapts to any size fire hose and can carry up to 5 gallons of fire blocking gel concentrate. The AtakPak System gives you the option of spraying the fire blocking gel or using plain water. Atakpak Replacement Liner: Disposable plastic liner that holds up to 5 gallons of fire blocking concentrate gel. Easy to insert and remove and the fact that it is disposable allows for quick clean-up and return to service.

Cold Weather Heat System: This device is designed to safeguard the WatchDog Fire Protection System from freezing weather below 30EF. The unit is a Heatcon, 120V, 2000 watts heater with built-in thermostat.

Blizzard Wizard® Nozzle and Mixer: Superior range Class A foam nozzle of 34 US gallons per minute, for urban and wildland fire operations. Variable round-the-pump foam proportioned for flows of 150gpm or less. Fixed flow inline inductor with companion air aspirating nozzle. This "Blizzard Wizard®" team will convert any 1-1/2" hose into an "initial attack line" capable of throwing 600gpm of made foam up to 75 feet.
