The W.H. Bingham Company sold Shur Strike lures under their Uncle Tom name. All of the Tom lures have the Creek Chub Military Style gold imprint on their back. So far I have found the: Uncle Tom, Floating Tom, Jointed Tom, Bass Tom, Injured Tom and Popping Tom.

The older Uncle Tom box is a plain looking box with dark blue type on a pale yellow background. The later box was more colorful with a red & yellow design. By this time they were Famous!

This lure is a PAW PAW version of the Uncle Tom. The River Rustler is the only style lure from Paw Paw to be marked Uncle Tom. The paint colors and lure hardware make them easy to differentiate from Shur Strike lures.
