During the summer of 2002, I was an unpaid extra and amateur stuntman
in the movie "Ghost Rock," filmed at Old Tucson Studios. The picture stars Gary Busey as an evil bastard who
takes over an 1870s western town. It also features Addrienne Barbeau, Michael Worth, and James Hong (my favorite). Gary stayed
in character as an asshole even off-camera. I'm sure he's really a nice guy *SNORK!* After seeing "I'm With Busey," my opinion
has been validated.
Though the low-budget film was too cheap to pay the extras,
most of the cast and crew were very generous with photo ops. "Ghost Rock" is already available in
the Third World (UK, Australia, Thailand, etc.) but won't hit the American DVD market (straight-to-video!) until 2004.
Update: Thanks to a friend of mine in Sweden, I got a PAL copy of the movie.
Amazon.com says it's due for NTSC release in June. See the screen shots at the bottom of the page!.
