Retired from the US Air Force on February 1, 2002, after 22 years and 4 months on active duty. A cryptologic
linguist throughout my career, I served five tours in the Republic of Korea. The photo here was taken after my retirement
ceremony held on December 14, 2001. I opened and closed my operational career at what is now the 303d Intelligence Squadron,
Osan Air Base.
My retirement flag flew on a U-2 mission by the 5th Reconnaissance Squadron.
