1st NATIONAL
OUTREACH
TRAINING
In Indianapolis, IN
on October 19th & 20th 2005,
uniting with sex industry survivors & ministries from across the
US, Steve & Julie trained
pastors & laypeople @ the Calvary Temple Assembly of God.
After each
day of training, they led teams to deliver over 50
gifts, each containing 'Becoming' New Testament Magazine
Bibles. , The Father's
Love Letter DVD & Videos, custom made CD's by Evetree.com,
jewelry, makeup & designer perfumes to two of the largest strip
clubs in Indianapolis. ALIGN
New Testament Magazine Bibles were given to bouncers, djs,
bartenders, managers, & owners.
One of the clubs, Julie was employed @ for over 7
years. She and another former co-employee, Laurie McCabe,
spent over 45 minutes in the club locker room delivering gifts,
catching up with
old friends, taking prayer requests & making new
friends. Both teams were
welcomed with favor from the owner, management &
employees. To God be the glory!
BFA had the honor to receive reserved seating for
the free conference that was held by Joyce
Meyer, featuring Hillsong
Australia on Oct 20-22. Five decisions to
accept Jesus or rededicate lives were made by guests they invited.
Joyce
Meyer Ministries & many others partnered with BFA to make this
vision a reality. Very special thanks to everyone that
contributed. Together,
we are making a difference!
CHRISTMAS OUTREACHES &
OTHERS PLANNED
Following our national training in Indy, former dancer, Becky
McDermont, held her first outreach delivering
like items, including the
'Becoming' New Testament & Father's Love Letter evangelism DVD to a
strip club in Rapid City, Michigan. Her home church & others
have
embraced the birthing of this new ministry & we are looking forward
to watching what God is going to do through this amazing woman of God.
Also following the training, Oasis
Ministries was officially
established in Dayton, Ohio. They had their first outreach @
Christmas, as well. They have obtained incredible favor from the
community & other local churches. They had two former dancers
& volunteers from 4 different churches assist them delivering
90 gifts bags & home made cookies to 7 SOB (sexually oriented
business) establishments. They have also obtained a ministry home
for an office
& place of refuge for those in the industry. The best
part is that it is situated
in amongst 11 SOB's, close to where the founder's church is
located also!
Jackie Dawson, a former dancer, in Southern California contacted us
back in August, had her first outreach for Christmas as
well. She distributed gifts with the same or similar items
we distribute. The name of new ministry God has birthed through
her is The Well.
Former dancer, Paula Howley, from Canada has also contacted us & is
preparing for her first outreach.
All ministries above mentioned were provided with free custom
CD's from Evetree.com.

The cost of each outreach
ranges from $100 - $2500.
TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS
With the filing of our 501(c)3 tax exemption paperwork with the IRS
& Federal Government, pending approval, all contributions
given in 2006 will be tax deductible. (We anticipate approval
quickly as our accountant is retired from specializing in 501c3's!)
Receipts for yearly accumulative amounts exceeding $200 will be given
to
contributors automatically. Please make all checks payable to
Beauty from Ashes Ministries, Inc. 100% of donations
go to our
purpose. All staff operate on a
volunteer basis only.

Over and over
again, the Lord keeps showing us His intense love and care for these
ladies. There were some areas exposed that we'll need to work on,
but all will come in His timing. We are constantly humbled when
we think of the Lord allowing us to participate in this great
harvest. We have much to learn, but I feel that we have at least
gotten out of the boat, now. He's calling us to stay focused on
Him. It's His call, His plan, His ministry and His harvest.
In my gut, I have the feeling that this is bigger than any of us in
Dayton can imagine. He is our rock, source and wisdom. He
