Minutes for the Village of Beverly Special Council Meeting

Held May 3, 2006

 

             A special meeting of the Village of Beverly Council was held Wednesday May 3, 2006 at 6:30 P.M. with Mayor Clem Biedenbach presiding. Members Dave Price, Laura Adams, Stacey Brooks, Arlene Pennock, Amista Lipot, and Mary Ann Pennock answered to roll call. Clerk Larry Kitts was also present.

             The meeting was called to pass legislation relevant to renovating the community swimming pool on State Route 60.

             Adams moved to accept the bid of Astro Pool of $415,077 which includes a $15,000 contingency, to renovate the community pool. Brooks seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0), motion passed.

             Adams moved to approve the pool perimeter fence alternate of $16,800. Brooks seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0), motion passed.

Arlene Pennock moved to read Resolution 06-3 a RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO CONTRACTS NECESSARY FOR RENOVATION OF THE COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOL by title only. Brooks seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0), motion passed. Arlene Pennock moved to approve Resolution 06-3, Brooks seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0), resolution approved.

             With no further business to come before Council the meeting was adjourned.
