Minutes for the Village of Beverly Special Council Meeting

Held March 21, 2006

 

             A special meeting of the Village of Beverly Council was held Wednesday December 28, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. with Mayor Clem Biedenbach presiding. Members Dave Price, Laura Adams, Stacey Brooks, Arlene Pennock, Amista Lipot, and Mary Ann Pennock answered to roll call. Clerk Larry Kitts, Matt Cavenagh, Tammy Bates, Kevin Sams, Dave Combs, and Lori Ginther were also present.

             Kevin Sams presented a report to the Citizens Pool Committee regarding items discussed with the architect. Alternates to the drawings, a larger side, and pool heater were discussed. The tentative schedule is to advertise April 3^rd, open bids April 19^th, start construction May 1^st, and completed by July 31^st. A copy of this report is attached to the minutes.

             A Special Meeting will be called after the bids are opened in order to award the contract.

             Adams moved to have the architect proceed with the prints, advertise for bids and oversee the construction of the renovation of the pool, Mary Ann Pennock seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0), motion passed.          

Adams moved to read Resolution 06-2 a RESOLUTION APPOINTING A CITIZEN POOL COMMITTEE by title only. Mary Ann Pennock seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0). Adams moved to approve Resolution 06-2, Mary Ann Pennock seconded the motion and all answered yes to roll call (6-0), resolution approved.

             With no further business to come before Council the meeting was adjourned.
