Special Meeting of the Village of Beverly Board of Public Affairs

Waterford Water and Sewer Association &

Tri-County Rural Water District

******************************************************************************

The Annual Meeting with the Waterford Water & Sewer Association and Tri-County Rural Water District was held at February 22, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. with Tammy Bates, Bernard Clark, and Jim Ullman representing the Village of Beverly Board of Public Affairs; Rosemary Armstrong and Jack Cunningham representing Tri-County Rural Water, and Ronald Young represented Waterford Water and Sewer.

The three boards reviewed a copy of the plant operations for 2005. Beverly BPA Clerk Larry Kitts explained that an averaging method had to be used in 2005 due to Waterford Water & Sewer’s absence of pumps to determine flow amounts.

The cost to operate the wastewater plant in 2005 using the averaging method was $1.32 per thousand gallons. Tri-County’s rate will stay the same at $2.21 per thousand gallons. A credit due for 2005 will be $312.83.

Waterford’s rate will be raised to $2.00 per thousand gallons with a balance due for 2005 of $13,462.16.

With no further business coming before these boards, the meeting was adjourned.
