RECORD OF ORDINANCES

 Ordinance No. 06-6 - Passed March 8, 2005

 

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CHANGING THE VILLAGE OF BEVERLY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING DATE.

 

WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Council of the Village of Beverly, the present date for the Village of Beverly Regular Council Meeting, which is the second Thursday of each month, is in conflict with the schedules of various Council Members and the Village Solicitor and

 

WHEREAS, in order to eliminate excessive absenteeism and the inability of the Village to conduct business efficiently,

 

BE IT THEREFORE NOW ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Beverly, County of Washington, State of Ohio, as follows:

 

SECTION 1: The Village of Beverly Regular Council Meeting shall be held on the

second Wednesday of each month.

 

SECTION 2:  An emergency exists effecting the public health, safety and general

Welfare of the citizens of the Village of Beverly, and that this Ordinance shall

take effect and be in force immediately upon passage.
