RESOLUTION APPOINTING A CITIZEN POOL COMMITTEE

 

The Council of the Village of Beverly met in regular session the 8th day of March 2006.

Resolution adopted March 8, 2006

 

WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Council of the Village of Beverly that the municipal swimming pool, after nearly forty years of service to the surrounding community, is now in a state of great disrepair, and

 

WHEREAS, the Waterford Township Trustees have agreed to combine resources with the Village of Beverly in a collaborative effort to replace the aging swimming pool, and

 

WHEREAS, upon the completion of this project, the new swimming pool will provide a safe and secure recreational facility for residents young and old, as well as those with handicaps, for not only the local community in Washington County but neighboring Morgan and Noble Counties as well, and

 

WHEREAS, The Council of the Village of Beverly desires to have the input and expertise of the residents of the community to work with the members of the Village Council Pool Committee and this committee shall be called The Beverly-Waterford Township area Citizens’ Pool Committee.

 

BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED by The Council of the Village of Beverly, County of Washington, State of Ohio, The Beverly-Waterford Township area Citizens’ Pool Committee shall consist of the Pool Committee of the Village of Beverly in addition to Lori Ginther, Jennifer Lowe, Kevin Sams and Dave Combs representing the Beverly, Waterford Township community at large.
