OK, so why do I get to Rant?

Well, basically I think I'm a pretty smart guy (even if I can't spell). I grew up in Berkeley Ca. which is a place given to Ranting, so its in my blood. I am the son of a journalist, which makes me predisposed to expressing an opinion. It was through the help of this journalist mother that I published my first few articles in local and national magazines.

I graduated from Cal State Northridge with a bunch of fancy awards, which I guess means someone thinks I'm pretty smart. I got a scholarship to go to graduate school, so I guess a couple people think I'm ah'ight.

But mostly I can Rant because Earthlink gave me the space to do it. Also, I need to do something that allows me to ignore my school work and still feel like I'm producing something.

I'll likely invite some guest Ranters now and then so stick around, check back in and hopefully you'll be entertained, pissed off or whatever.
