Abridged Resume
I grew up in San Francisco. I have a BA & MA from St. Louis University. I worked on a PhD with the Centre for the Biology
of Natural Systems at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. My wife, Linda Amezcua, grew up in Pacifica. She has her DVM
from UC/Davis. Currently, she co-owns Linda Mar Veterinary Hospital and the Coast Cat Clinic in Pacifica. She offer an outreach
medical service to the residents of the South Coast. And, she is a shareholder in the North Peninsula Veterinary Emergency
Hospital.
I've written over 1,000 articles on topics related to venture capital and equity finance. You can find over 100 of these articles
at GoArticles.com. I'm the author of Venture Capital Profits. I've lecture at investment conferences and universities around
the world. The first San Francisco Bay Area article about my venture capital and equity finance consulting services appears
in the San Francisco Business Journal on February 22, 1982. Since then, favorable articles about me have appeared in most
business and major general circulation SFBA newspapers.
In addition to my consulting services, I've been the Managing Director of Beowulf Investments, a merchant bank, since 1982.
I've been the Executive Director of the Global Village Investment Club, the world's largest venture capital club, since 2003.
I’ve run Beowulf Trading for nearly forty years. And, with a partner, I run Mine Finder.
I’m an active backpacker, kayaker, caver, Scuba diver and spend some part of each year exploring the backroads of the
world.

My Business Philosophy
Everyone should win the risk capital game. It takes time and careful planning to make any risk capital speculation work.
Anyone without a clear and concise business plan, shouldn't be seeking investors. Anyone without a strategic plan has nowhere
to go with their business. And, any public company without a clear and concise stock support plan shouldn't be a public company.
Investors who risk money without a full Due Diligence review of the business plan are almost certain to lose their money.
Investors who don't Globalize, won't see their families prosper in the 21st Century.

Other Business Ventures
In addition to offering consulting services, being the Managing Director of Beowulf Investments and the Executive Director
of the Global Village Investment Club, I run two other ventures.
Beowulf Trading is an importer of high value items that include art, antiques, collectibles, gem rough and mineral specimens.
I've funded my exploration of the world for the past 45 years doing this business.
Mine Finder is the result of my education in geology and work from 1974 to 1983 evaluating mining properties for assorted
investors and companies. With my mining partner, we use our experience to locate mines that meet the needs of individuals
and firms who expect a Bull Market in gold in the next few years.
Also, with my mining partner, I'm actively involved in an underground pocket gold mine in the Motherlode.
