If you want a reliable income opportunity, exporting small European antiques and collectibles is your best choice. You can
find these items in almost every country. Exports to the United States are hassle free. You can start with limited funds and
I’ll guarantee that you cannot lose your money on doing your first test export shipment to me.
European antiques & collectibles are found everywhere. The sun never set on the British Empire in the 19th Century. Spain
and Portugal controlled most of Central and South America until 1810. France, Holland, Germany & Belgium vied for political
control over Africa and Asia with England, Spain & Portugal. Western European colonists arrived everywhere with their belongs.
As these Colonists prospered in their new homes, they imported more European products. Their descendants imported more items
to affirm their European origins. As independence movements displaced European political control in the 19th and 20th Centuries,
the Colonists’ descendants either returned to their European homeland or were absorbed into the new nation. Few countries
have any interested in regulating the export of the former Colonists’ belongings. In most countries, the local population
views these belongings as junk.
U. S. Customs allows anything over one hundred years of age to enter the United States, without import duties. Items mailed
into the United States and valued at less than US$2,000 are processed by the U. S. Postal Service, without the need for a
Custom’s Broker nor a freight forwarded.
Your first shipment to Beowulf Trading should cost you no more than US$100. If you email me with a description of the antiques
and collectibles, I’ll agree to guarantee your initial US$100 investment and shipping costs in my reply email to you.
You don’t have to buy these items, until I’ve confirmed that your risk capital will be guaranteed.
I encourage you to reinvest your profits in your exports until you are earning US$2,000/shipment. This means that your risk
never exceeded your initial US$100 investment. And after the first successful shipment, there is no risk of losing that US$100
investment, because your exports should be worth far more than the US$100.
When you buy at the source, the odds of buying a fake are small. If your US$100 shipment doesn’t include items made
with gold or silver. You are buying at the source. And, you pay no more than US$10 for any of your antique exports. It is
very unlikely that you will be mailing fakes to me.
What should you pay for an antique? You are a "Picker" in the antique trade. You are buying from the source. Your sellers
see little value in the items that you purchase. It isn’t hard to tell you the top price you should pay for anything.
Just email me. I expect you to double your money. I intend to double my money. I’ll sell to a wholesaler. They will
want at least a 33% profit, when they sell the item to a retailer. Wholesalers make their money on volume and a quick turnover
of the items. The retailer expects to sell the item at threefold their cost. This gives the antique retailer money to cover
their overhead and costs and allows for a 33% profit. Plus, the retailer often waits for months to find the right customer
to purchase the item.
If the retail price of an antique in good condition is US$980.00, the retailer paid the wholesaler about US$320.00 for it.
The wholesaler paid me US$107.00 for the antique. I paid you, the picker, US$51.50 for the antique. And your top price was
no more than US$26.00 for this piece of junk. Everything you ship to me allows me to double my money. However, as long as
most items meet my overhead costs, I’ll accept the few losers. If there are too many losers, our business relationship
will end, because working with you isn’t profitable for me.
If you want to know the retail price of antiques, you are better served seeking auction house sale prices than those found
in antique price books. The strong tendency in antique price books is to quote retail prices high. Over the years, this has
helped to increase the value of antiques, but it is rarely what the retail customer will pay now. If you request it, I will
supply you an Internet source of antique auction prices, after your first shipment to me.
How do you find your sources of supply? Know the Colonial History of your country. You should visit the History Department
of local colleges and universities. Visit local museums and talk with the staff. Visit the 16th through 19th Century Colonial
Economic Centers in your Country. Often they are now agricultural centers. Avoid towns that are foreign tourist Mecca. In
these Colonial Towns, visit Thrift Stores, Bazaars, used jewelry stores, junk stores or whatever outlets are likely to carry
old Colonial items. Ask to visit the attic of old Colonial homes, especially those that have lost their real estate value.
Talk to the local population seeking places that may still house colonial junk.
How do you know if it’s valuable? Ask me. However, taking courses in Art History, craftsmanship, antiques, and design
will help you recognize the antiques from the junk.
Once you have some antique buying experience, you can usually purchase a US$2,000 shipment in less than two or three days.
Often, you can visit the same town many times and quickly find your treasures.
BEYOND ANTIQUES
In most countries, you can live an upper middle-class life with an annual income between US$24,000 and US$48,000. There is
no need to work harder to make more money. However, if you want to earn over US$500,000 per year, I can help you do it. Once
you have proven that you are a reliable associate, I am willing to work with you to expand and diversify your exports to me.
I’ll suggest a variety of ways to do it. I am always interested in your ideas and suggestions.
Instead of exporting postal packages of small European Antiques and Collectibles, you can export dry cargo containers of
larger antiques, like furniture, from Europe, Asia or elsewhere. I will show you how to find the money to buy large quantities
of antiques and collectibles.
You can export a long list of collectibles from museum quality mineral specimens to legally exported artifacts. There are
many high value export products that have a strong market in the United States. These range from food and drink items, to
top quality products valued by niche markets. In most cases, you can ship dry cargo container loads of these articles to my
American wholesalers.
Beowulf Trading will show you how to use Other People’s Money (OPM) to pay your export costs. You can get this money,
BEFORE you buy the junk. All of this help is free to Beowulf Trading Associates.
