Bentivegna, like most names can be traced back at least to the 13'th century. One of the earliest Bentivegnas I have come across was only known as Bentivegna, and that he had the coat of arms indicated here. Thanks to The Genealogy Helper and the Internet I have not only found the owner to the coat of arms but his full name when and where he lived. The Coat of Arms belonged to Bentivegna Bentiveghi, Bishop of Todi Umbria of The Papel States in the 13'th century. More information can be found by clipping on his name.
