"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

James 1:27 NIV

Masonic Home for Children

At Oxford

Every Christmas, brothers from our lodge go up to Oxford, North Carolina to bring gifts to children who might otherwise not receive any at the holidays.  Pictured above are brothers in front of the Gray Cottage, one of the many residences for orphans and otherwise displaced children at the MHCO.  We also conduct fundraisers to make money for the MHCO each year.

Presidential Scholarship

Each year, the Lodge gives a $500.00 Presidential Scholarship to an outstanding senior at the local high school.  The 2004 winner was Page Dixon of South Point High School.
