Priscilla Alexander: Ms. Alexander is an outspoken advocate for prostitutes' rights who has served as co-director of COYOTE, Executive Director of the National Task Force on Prostitution, and as Educational Coordinator of the California Prostitutes' Education Project. She is also a member of the National Board of Directors of NOW. Though not a sex worker herself, she has been a key player in the fight for the rights of whores around the world. She is editor of the most well-known, widely referred to book of writings by sex workers, Sex Work.
Siobhan Brooks: Ms. Brooks has been instrumental in the process of unionizing exotic dancers at the Lusty Lady peepshow in San Francisco, where she is the shop steward. Her writing on sex work can be reaed in Jill Nagle's book, Whores and Other Feminists.
Nina Hartley: Adult film star, Nina Hartley is not only a successful actress, but she is also the most outspoken sex worker on the issue of free speech and sex education. Ms. Hartley has appeared on several talk shows in support of freedom of sexually-oriented expression as well as being supportive of female sexuality in general, and has performed in over three hundred adult films/videos.
Carol Leigh: Ms. Leigh (a.k.a. Scarlot Harlot) has been an instrumental component of the prostitutes' rights movement since the 1970's. Her brazen sexual energy, combined with her powerful intellect and creative talent makes her a unique voice in the spectrum of sex-positive feminism and in the fight for sexual freedom and the right to express it.
Mistress Delilah: The Mistress is a freelance Dominatrix who has worked in several New York-area clubs including Show World and The Vault. She is an ivy league graduate, currently pursuing her PhD. Her commitment to libertarian causes is readily apparent in her passionate and eloquent discussions about feminism and the cause of prostitutes' rights.
Carol A. Queen: Ms. Queen is a widely recognized sex educator and feminist. She is co-owner of the country's preeminent feminist sex shop, Good Vibrations. Unlike typical sex shops, this store is well-lit, with helpful staff, and informative pamphlets on sexual topics. She earned her Ed.D. from the prestigious Institute for Advanced Study In Human Sexuality. Her work is extremely vital to the Sex-Positive Feminist Movement. She has also written a number of books, including "Exhibitionism for the Shy" and "Real Live Nude Girls"
Candida Royalle: Ms. Royalle, a former adult film actress is now the owner and operator of her own production/distribution company, Femme Distribution, Inc. Her company is widely known for producing high-quality, woman-oriented adult entertainment for the video market. She is also a founding member of Feminists for Free Expression.
