Rebecca M. Alvin (Director/Producer/Editor):
Rebecca M. Alvin, a native New Yorker, started out working toward a career as a rock guitarist, studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, when she got sidetracked from a Film Scoring major there to a Filmmaking major at Emerson College in Boston. After her final student film, Untitled (No.1) won finalist honors at the 1994 Visual Artists Film & Video Competition in San Jose, CA, Rebecca moved on to edit and produce numerous corporate and medical tapes in New York, before returning to more creative pursuits with the 1996 film, Voices, which screened at the Utah Short Film & Video Festival and elsewhere. She received an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School, where she now teaches film studies.
Ann T. Rossetti (Director of Photography):
Ms. Rossetti is an experienced, well-trained cinematographer with over 12 years of film & video experience. She is most well-known for lensing the award-winning independent film, Go Fish, (directed by Rose Troche), but she is also experienced with documentaries, shorts, music videos and virtually all areas of film/video photography. Ms. Alvin and Ms. Rossetti worked together on Ms. Alvins short film, entitled Voices before Our Bodies, Our Minds.
Mark H. van Bork (Sound Designer):
Mark H. Van Bork is an experienced audio engineer. His experience includes work with various advertising, film, & television clients including CBS and ABC, Disney, Cappa Films, and several independent film projects. In 1996, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for sound editing. In addition, Mr. Van Borks background in music is evidenced by his experience in live radio, recording several independent artists, his outstanding education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and his own unique musical expressions which can be found on his project recording entitled Scream Mantra. He currently teaches Audio Production at The New School and Sound Design at Parsons School of Design, both in New York.
