Diocese of Florida and Prisoners of Chirst

On Saturday, June 21, 2008. Bishop +John Howard announced at the Commission on Prison and Related Ministry meeting; the formation of a parntership between Prisoners of Christ and the Diocese of Florida. In this flagship partnership the Prisoners of Chirst staff will occupy the parish hall space at the Church of the Nativity on Normandy Blvd., on the westside of Jacksonville. The church proper will be staffed with four part-time clergy. The Rev.'s Tom Beasley; Carrie English; John Owens and Sandy Tull. Sunday service begins on August 3, 2008 at 10 AM each and will continue to do so on Sundays. The service is open to all and especially welcomes exoffenders and their families and all who live in the area of the Church of the Nativity. Please call us at 904-982-9557 for more information.
