Enkidu

Enkidu was part of a team.  She and her brother Loki were scared feral kittens when we brought them home.  Loki was her protector and when she became a lovable, pint-sized cutie, it caused Loki to become every feline's best friend.

Enkidu had the misfortune of being FIV positive but she never complained about it.  Through numerous trips to the Vet for tests and treatment for her various illnesses, she purred like a trooper, that is, if troopers purred, then she would purr like one.

When she was finally hospitalized we would visit her daily and she was always happy to see us.   In fact, she purred until her last breath.  She wasn't quite a year old but she left an impact on all her caregivers, including the fantastic people of the Coast Pet Clinic in Hermosa Beach. 

She died in 1989 and she is still loved and missed.
