The trains and other images you see above was made by a small group of guys,
they call these little trains "Train GIF's". With their permission I have copied their drawings (images of the trains) and assembled the scene you see above. I have included links to their websites so you can visit them and see what the experts can do with these little trains. If you happen to see some of your art work on my website and I do not have a link to you site, please let me know and I will add your site to the rest. Or if you have a website with train GIF's on it and would like your site listed with the rest let me know. This scene is composed of a background picture, and 29 other separate images (or pictures). Each train car (train engines, box cars, cabooses) are all separate images as well as the roadbed and train tracks, and all the trees you see in the foreground, and ofcorse the helicopter. They are placed in the scene one at a time and then told which direction to go in, and how fast to go. They can be arranged in any order I choose, just like a real model train set. Come to think of it, they are real, real images........ This is my first attempt at making one of these train scenes, and I have found out that these train GIF's are only supported by Internet Explorer since Netscape DOES NOT support the MARQUEE tag. (the Marquee tag, is the HTML code that tells the trains to move and in which direction, and how fast). With Netscape the train just piles up a you have a train wreck.....LOL * Check back from time to time because I will be doing other scenes and adding more pages as time permits. Please note that this scene may look different, depending on the size of your monitor, your screen resalution (best viewed at 800 X 600), and the text size you have your browser set at. All these things will make the trains and other images appear at different places. Excample: If the trains seem to be above the tracks, you can make your text size smaller, which will lower the trains. (to do this, on the top of your screen on the tool bar, click on the "View" button, drop down to "text size". there will be a dot next to the size your monitor is set at, just click on the different sizes and your computer will refresh itself and change the text size). |
