Information About the Artist:Having been involved in many types of beading over the years, I've followed the trends in style. Finally, I decided to create something that I love no matter what the trend. These bracelets are the result.
I design my bracelets with a mix of vintage and new buttons & beads so that each is one of a kind. The styles vary from a Victorian look to classic, and from funky to absolutely outrageous!I wear the one that matches my mood.
I'm a beader, but I LOVE BUTTONS. The many types and styles, the many materials and detailed beauty of buttons, never ceases to amaze me. I find inspiration and a rush of ideas each and every time I go through my wonderful stash of buttons & beads, ready and waiting for the next piece of jewelry. I create these bracelets without altering the buttons used in the designs.
I guess you could say that I am compulsively creative and always have many different projects going at one time. (Much to my husband's dismay) I'm either making it, or thinking about it and sketching ideas. How many do I actually create? Well, let's not talk about that... <grin>
Garage sales are one of my haunts looking for buttons and beads that can be used in my jewelry. (Also, much to my husband's dismay. I guess it's true that opposites do attract.)
