Sally loved a man
who didn't exist
He cut her heart out
with a blunt instrument
and ate it in front
of her
When he finished
he burped and rolled
over and left her bleeding
red sapphires on the pillow
But as he tried to
go he found her hands
stuck on his head
So he whipped out a guitar
string and sliced them off
at the wrists in his haste
I saw her the
other day
She said she had a
new heart put in
All stainless steel
She took off her
shirt to show me the
stitches on her chest
She didn't have her
hands back yet
She said they're still
attached to his head, but
he doesn't have the guts
to get them surgically
removed so he just
wears a hat
