Pavel Lazarenko, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine is fighting false charges created by the totalitarian regime
in Ukraine. Pavel Lazarenko broke from the ruling clique and championed a true democratic reform movement in Ukraine.
For this he was driven from Ukraine and now faces criminal charges in the United States.
Daniel Horowitz, attorney for Pavel Lazarenko made this statement to Radio Free Europe:
"As Ukraine grew towards democracy, Pavel Lazarenko grew with it. The forces in power under the old soviet regime
held on and are now orchestrating a campaign against Pavel Lazarenko."
The defense will show that the Ukraine police forces have seized most of the critical documents in this case. Instead
of releasing all of the documents, they have selectively produced those documents which favor their position. If ever
all of the documents are produced they will show that the United States has initiated a prosecution based upon a manufactured,
soviet/KGB style propaganda campaign.
While the U.S. press is not providing much coverage of this case, the European and East European press is providing full
coverage.
