-Saturday, September 24: Travis Toth was recently
promoted to the position of GM of the Baybears, who will be celebrating their 10th season
as the Padres' AA affiliate this coming year. Highlights of the tenth anniversary
season will include appearances by members of the original 1997 team throughout the season, and special events Opening Weekend
to commemorate the tenth anniversary of BayBears Baseball at Hank Aaron Stadium. More information on the 10th Anniversary
Executive Committee will be announced at a later date. Meanwhile, a driving range is being built adjacent to the Hank.
