Welcome to Santaville, home of the Christmas that almost never was.  Conceived and illustrated by artist/author Joan Berg Victor, book written in verse by Stanley Wiklinski.  This series was distributed by Flambro Imports, ca 1993. You might be familiar with their Emmett Kelly, Jr. figurines or their Peanuts collection.  They have a website at WWW.FLAMBRO.COM, but you won't find anything about Santaville there.

I'm selling all of my Santaville collection -- which includes all of the houses you see here plus two of the accessories. You can find information at http://home.earthlink.net/~elfannex.

Each building came with a miniature book, and each of the buildings seems to be individually numbered -- but I haven't found any documentation to indicate that this was a numbered or limited edition.  The OSRP on the buildings was $49.95 each.  The gate set and town clock were $24.95 each. I don't have the OSRP on the other accessories.

This is a charming set with a surprise -- except for the Reindeer Stable, the back of each house is open and contains a three-dimensional interior scene. The lights are hidden by features in each scene.

This is an example of the boxes used for the buildings, gate, and town clock.  Each box has a photo of a different piece on front and back.  The piece inside the box is indicated by a check mark on the appropriate side. Since there are ten pieces, there are five different boxes.

Here is an example of  the accessory box for the elves and friends.  All of the boxes are the same, with a list of pieces on the back and the appropriate item checked.

There is a gap in the accessory numbers I've been able to document... 3529 is missing.  I suspect that this was what looks like a team of polar bears pulling Santa in his sled shown in the photo on the box.
