The Museum plays an active role in supporting the communities and schools of Bates County.  Special programs include storytelling, sharing of artifacts, interpretive displays, speeches, reenacting, and the use of reproduction antique clothing/costumes.  The Bates County Historical Society wants folks to know that history is both fun and informative!
