Son of: Andrew 1804
Willard enlisted and mustered as a Private on July 5th, 1861. At the time he listed his age as 18 and occupation as a hostler (a person who takes care of horses, especially at an Inn). He joined the 1st Regiment, Massachusetts Volunteer Heavy Artillery, Company H. He died of disease, March 24, 1964 at Fort Strong, Virginia.
