W E L C O M E !

Proud to Promote "The inherent worth and dignity of every person"

In June 2006, the UUA awarded the BAUUC official recognition as a Welcoming Congregation (of GLBT persons), joining over 500 other congregations.  This action was based on the activities of BAUUC's Welcoming Congregation Program (WCP) and the unanimous vote of our congregation to apply for recognition.

To Learn About The Welcoming Congregation Program

This website has a wealth of educational resources and links to understand the WCP, GLBT people, and their struggle for human rights and why "straight" America should support them.  Every member and visitor of BAUUC is invited and encouraged to participate.

The One Voice committee encourages all members of BAUUC to browse this site and make use of it's resources.  Either the original WCP Workshop or the "LIving the WC Workshop" will be held again in Sept 2007.  The original WCP Workshop has been held twice.  Everyone who attended, found the workshop a very personally rewarding as well as informative experience. "One cannot accept what one doesn't understand. One cannot understand what one does not see."

Click on the links below for testimonials of BAUUC members who have attended the workshop:
