I started my life in a neighborhood called, "The Devil's Elbow" who woulda
guessed that I would spend my retired years in a neighborhodd with a "Devil's Slide"
Think my fate is preordained?
This little village on the Pacific is 14 miles south of San Francisco.
Right on the coast. I always said while flying around the world that if
I ever found a place that had perfect weather that I'd spend the rest of my days there.
I found that place in Pacifica, California within walking distance
of the beach. We have no need for an air conditioner with the ocean breezes flowing over us in the summer, and the winters
don't normally require heat. We just wear a sweater, and in the house sweats will keep you warm enough.

Above video was copied from Youtube someone made at the beach in Pacifica.
I live about six blocks from this beach and walk here daily with our Huskies.

I have mentioned Devils Slide to my friends and would like to share a picture
of this scary hiway between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, about 14 miles down the coastal hiway from Pacifica. We always get
a thrill driving this road almost every Saturday as we go to Half Moon Bay for breakfast.
