Why do I have faith in the God reveled in the pages of the Bible?
I cannot prove absolutely God exist.  I do on the other hand known there is overwhelming evidence that there is a Divine intelligence, who is caring, loving, and transcendent.  Compare the Bible to the facts of History (and Science). Just the History of the nation of Israel is overwhelming evidence that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the true and living God of the universe.  God has keep all His promises to this small tribal Nation.  There is no other with written promises made hundreds to thousands of years before they happened.

Is Israel prefect? NO. I state this for many think Chosen nation
equals better nation, the picture from scripture is God going to the
orphanage of nations and saying I will take that one.  God disciplined them
again and again for not trusting in Him. Looking at just one of many
promises:  God Promised Abraham, that his seed would be scattered  (lev 26:33) among the nations but would remain distinct and re-gather, that thru him would come a mighty nation, that all nations would be blessed thru him, that Gen 12:2 those that bless this nation would be blessed, those that cursed this nation would be cursed. That promise made thousands of years ago has stood the test of time. Any and All mighty nations that have persecuted the Jews have themselves fallen in ruins.  Egypt, Babylon, Greece (Alexander the Great), Rome, Spain, Nazi Germany (and more) and in our days Iraq.

With the Dead Sea Scrolls (200 BC) there is NO doubt that these promises
were made before there fulfillment.  And The fulfillment's are in any (many)
world history books.  I believe because God has kept his promises to Israel.
The first missile that hit Israel in the Gulf war, insured their total defeat.

In 1948 Israel received its promise of becoming a mighty nation and has had
to prove it in many wars, which it won even when greatly out numbered.
You do not have to love the Nation, especial it's politics. But one must
see that God choose this little nation to reveal Himself thru and this
nation brought forth God's plan of bringing all people back to Him, Gen 18:18
the Lord Jesus Christ.

His Messianic credentials are just as firm, promises given hundreds to thousands of years before His birth. The prophets foretold: John 5:39  Luke 24:25-27.
Isaiah 9:6   For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the
government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 52 & 53: died with thieves, Wounded and busied, rejected by his
own people, Silent to accusations, sacrificed for us, buried in a rich
man's tomb.  Things that would be impossible for one make happen.

His Birth: Mic 5:2 and  Isaiah 7:14  Healing: Is 61:2  Jerusalem entry:
Zech 9:9 Pierced: Zech 12:10 The list goes on and on. His rising from the Dead.

I can trust the Messianic promises because He has kept His promises to Israel.  Good relationships are build one promise kept on top of the other and there are many promises kept in scripture.

I cannot prove God.  But He has given more than enough reasons to
believe in Him.  Everyone needs to with a open and questioning mind and
heart ask is the Historical Jesus of Nazareth who He claims to be? and
responded.

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities -- his eternal power and divine nature -- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Psalms 97:6   The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the
peoples see his glory.

Psalms 19:1. The heavens declare the glory of God;

Secular History books record the History of the Nation of Israel.  Science books, tell us the universe was created about 15 Billion years ago out of nothing.
The design of the universe revels only the God of the Bible could be the creator.

Start with history and other measurable facts, I believe in miracles
because of the kept promises spanning thousands of years.
Only an all wise, all powerful God could reveal these things over a long time span.
 

This small nation thru Jesus Christ, and its own history has changed world history, and the hearts of many.

Jesus Chirst is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The whole world counts years by his
birth.  He is in control, He keeps His promises. The nations I listed that fell after attacking the Jews is proof that He is in control of governments.
Just as there are physical laws, there are spiritual laws.  Violating a spiritual law can have the same kind of damage as trying to violating a physical law.
