December, 1999

Holiday Greetings from the Sargent's home to your home

The kids are singing Christmas songs. Barbara cooks up goodies in the
kitchen. The  decorations are down from the attic. Christmas is around the corner and the
year 2000 just a  few days away.
Tommy (5) is loving Kindergarten, he LIKES doing his homework; we’ll see
how long that  lasts. Timmy (7) is in second grade and continues to grow every day. He
enjoys Cub Scouts,   David is the Den Leader along with 8 other great young scouts.  Christina (10) is in 5th  grade.  She loves school and added learning piano (her most favorite hobby) this year with   her cello classes.  She is a Junior Girl Scouts this year and likes the
outdoor camping that  comes with it. Barbara is her leader and has been taking the troop out on trips.  Dave’s office  moved back to Burbank. He appreciates the shorter commute. We enjoyteaching our 6th grade Sunday School class together.
Our summer camping adventure this year took us to the beach, just north
of Santa Barbara.  The picture card is of us peddling along the Santa Barbara Coast
-- hard work, but  fun!  Christina, Tim and Dave took to the ocean, kayaking and two man
boating.  Tim and  Dave had the pleasure of going to 4 day Scout camp on Catalina Island this summer, also.

As we open our gifts given in love to one another this Christmas, we
remember the One  who gave the ultimate free gift for the asking -- forgiveness, through the
Son of God, Jesus Christ; born in a manger, yet born to be King of Kings.
We pray that your Christmas and New Year will be filled with Joy, Hope
and Love.

                     Merry Christmas with Love,

Dave, Barbara, Christina, Tim and Tom
