Keasarge Pass To Mount Whitney

Backpackers arrive in Onion Valley (East of Independence, CA) on Tuesday, July 18  and return out of the back country on Monday, July 24,  2017.

This will be a truly “High Country” backpacking trip. About half of the trip will be above the tree line (11,000’ ).
The highlight of the trip will be climbing Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the continental US.

Because of the limited amount of exit permits out of Whitney Portal, the trip is limited to a total of 9, youth and adults

Kearsarge Pass: 11,800’
Forester Pass: 13,12'

$75 deposit to hold your spot for the camp is required, due by May 23.
