Girl Den Open House

BSA received overwhelming requests from families with daughters interested in the Cub Scout program. Research shows 90 percent of BSA parents are interested in getting their daughters involved in a program like Cub Scouts. That’s why we began discussions about expanding traditional programs to girls. We recognized a need and worked to meet it. In addition to offering Cub Scouts to girls and boys started in 2018, a program for older girls started in 2019, providing young women the path to earn the highest rank of Eagle in separate girl Troops.The values of the BSA Scout Law – trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent – are relevant and important values for young men and young women. BSA has been providing programs to girls since 1971, with Exploring program, Venturing, Sea Scouts and STEM. . Boy Scouts of America girls program are called: Cub Scout for younger girls and Scouts BSA for older girls. Girls will have the same requirements.
The Open House and Cub Scout meetings are across the street from Sierra Madre Memorial Park in the front part of the New Life Center at the north corner of Sierra Madre Blvd and Hermosa.

Cub Scouts is were girls and boys can have fun and learn at the same time.
373 has been providing a quality program since 1924.
Pack 373 is family friendly and holds family events.
If you miss the Open House you are still welcome to come to any of Pack 373 meetings and activities. There is also a second Open House on April 8, 2019 at 7pm.
