We are a family - dad, mom, and 2 sons ages 10 and 13 years old traveling around the world for a few years working and learning
about ourselves and the world around us.

started our travels in August of 1999 and have traveled around the continental United States. Then we voyaged to Hawaii and
lived there for 3 months. We travelled and lived in New Zealand for 5 months. We travelled in Australia and enjoyed time
with Barry's mom and sister in Sydney for a total of 6 weeks in the Land of Aus. July 21, 2001 we flew to Hong Kong to start
our Asia adventures. We are now in Beijing. See upcoming and existing links for more details. We plan to be in Beijing from
August 2001 to August 2008. And then...?</DIV>

Barry Disch is a world citizen. He is an acupuncturist by trade and is the instigator of our travels. He is home schooling
Jordan and working on an internet business in medical consulting. He also lectures on topics in alternative medicine and
health.

Marie Shieh is a family doctor. She works in temporary doctor jobs to support the family travels. She is available for physician
jobs in primary care. She also is available for lectures in health topics as varied as alternative medicine, stress management,
menopause, and travel medicine.

<DIV align="left">Jordan and Miles Disch are 13 and 10 years old respectively. Jordan was in local Chinese
school for 4 years and last year attended Beanstalk. He will enter 7th grade at WYA this year and has attended schools in
La Jolla, California; Hyde Park, New York; Honolulu, Hawaii and Kaikohe, New Zealand. He has friends in all his school locations.
He just finished Cottonwood Gulch camp this summer.

<DIV align="left">Miles is being
true to his name and has travelled many miles thus far and has many more to go. He started school in Kaikohe, NZ at the Hillcrest
Kindergarten and spent 4 years in a local Chinese schools.
He spent his last year at Beanstalk International Bilingual
School in 4th grade.
