July 6, 2008: Barley practicing
some commands at nine weeks old.
Sit, high 5 (well, high 10, then high 5) and down. Good boy! :o)
Barley and Bentley on July 11, 2008. This was taken at my work - but we're fortunate to have
the office located in a house. Bentley is our "office cat" who was a starving feral cat years ago (as you can see, he's
not starving anymore). He's not overly impressed with the puppy, but they're working out their differences. Please
excuse the TV chatter in the background... and that's one of my coworkers warning Barley he's going to get whacked, LOL.
July 12, 2008: Barley at 10 weeks with his new Wiggly Giggly Ball. (Sorry the sound is
sooooooo low on this one, we were having technical difficulities with the camera, oops!)
July 12, 2008: "Barley COME!"
(Practicing his recall at 10 weeks old.)
July 19, 2008: Barley at 11 weeks and his visiting
"cousin Charlie" after their baths. Wheeeeeeee!
July 28, 2008: Barley at 12 weeks ON THE MOVE

Poor Bentley, some cats just get no respect! :o)
August 1, 2008: Barley at 12 weeks old with
his new Miniature Schnauzer friend, Destiny.
August 1, 2008: Barley at 12 weeks old with his
new Boston Terrier friend, Lucy.
(August 1 was a full day of playing with new dog friends!)
August 7, 2008: Barley at 13 weeks with Pepper (the "Saint Ber-doodle")! :o)
Sorry the footage is grainy... dark dogs playing on dark carpet at night isn't the ideal combination
for filming! I lightened up the video so you could at least see the dogs, but that made the whole thing grainy, d'oh!
August 8, 2008: Barley's new toy!
August 13, 2008: Barley's learning to play with a
frisbee (picking it up is tricky, you know)!
August 13, 2008: Sooooooooo glad we spent
all that money on dog toys! :o)
August 14, 2008: Barley on the slide! It looks like he's careening out of control, but
this was his third time on this slide and he wanted to go again as soon as he landed! And I didn't push him down it,
I was holding onto him at the top so he didn't jump before the camera was ready. :o) Mr. Daredevil!
August 31, 2008: Barley (4 months) and our nephew
Derek (7 years old)... teamwork at its finest! :o)
October 26, 2008: Barley at almost 6 months.

November 2, 2008: Barley at 6 months old
playing on his backyard agility course. :o)
December 7, 2008: Barley at 7 months old on a
play date! (You can see how much he's grown by
comparing this video to the August 1 videos with
Lucy and Destiny.)
December 14, 2008: Barley at 7 months old on a
play date with Aiden and Hale (5 months old) from
December 25, 2008: Barley vs. The Treadmill!
January 10, 2009: Barley on a playdate with Dory, Jack and
Jorge!
March 7, 2009: Barley at a fun match!
June 29, 2009: SPLASH!
July 23, 2009: Dock diving with Splash Dogs!
July 26, 2009: Barley's jumps earlier in the week qualified him for the Open Finals! This is his last jump in the finals. Go Barley!
