Some more things happening behind the scenes at the World-Famous KFSR. First of all, Tim Gaskill was chose as Program Director to replace Ed Schreiber. And some spanking new DJ's: Felix Contreras doing Tuesday Morning 9-12 J-A-Z-Z and another female voice doing Rock late night Sundays from 11-2. Who is she? Listen and find out. One sad note: Steph the K, the Psychedelic Femme herself, moved down to Los Angeles. Steph's Fri. 12-3 show was all energy, and Steph was one of our faves. Steph, we love you and miss you. But don't think any bad thoughts, o.k.?One semi-major format change: The Saturday morning Country show is being changed to Saturday Morning Jazz. Jay Fung, an actual Jazz musician, will be hosting. This raises our Jazz total to 34 hours per week AND SPEAKING OF JAZZ
Thursday nights at the Cask and Cleaver, we're sponsoring "KFSR JAZZ NIGHT." The band is Inner Fires, and the whole thing starts at 8:00. We will be doing this thru the month of March, and maybe eve further if it is a success. Check it out. |
