Dear Whomever,
Well here this is, our very first, premier, inaugural, initial KFSR newsletter, which shall hitherto be referred to as the...ah...well, we haven't decided upon a name for it yet. Well no matter what it's called, it does exist. This extence stems from two basic needs. 1st, Fresno's need for alternative reading material at a realistic price (IT'S FREE), and 2nd, KFSR's need to inform the masses of our progressive type of programming. In the context of this newsletter lies a bounty of information including KFSR album picks and our official KFSR playlist (which our DJ's worship with undying devotion.) It also offers a DJ profile, along with an assortment of quotes, lyrics, letters and, dare I say it, literary paraphernalia. for our current listeners, we hope that this newsletter serves as an interesting supplement to our programming, and for radio listeners who have yet to venture down the dial to 90.7FM, we hope this letter will spur your interest in Fresno's only real alternative, KFSR.
Best Wishes,
Ed Schreiber
      Program Director
P.S. -- We decided on a title -- Dead Air Diary. deadicated to KSFR's first living legend, Dave Sozinho.

Lyrics of the month.....................
I had a dream. There were 1,000 girls, each one had a pizza, and all of them were topless . . . (So) I don't want to be an encyclopedia salesman.

Have A Ball With KFSR Sports

KFSR sports has "zipped" into high gear with some new management. Tony D'addato (don't even try to pronounce it) has taken over for ahhhh Doug Anderson as Sports Director. He is assisted by Mike Pearce. The big news in KFSR summer sports is the Fresno Giants. KFSR has at least 5 more games to broadase this year. July 26, July 31, August 8 with other games to be announced. And of course, when Bulldog Sports resume, KFSR will be right there covering Women's Basketball, Women's Softball and many other important events such as Bulldog 4-Square and the Ikeway Boat Races during the rainy season.
