| My first show: 2003 |
Since I began painting in earnest in July 2002, and had
my first solo exhibit, “30 Years without Art”, at the Upper Arlington Public Library in September 2003, I have
participated in numerous exhibits in Ohio, including the fine arts exhibit at the Ohio State Fair.
Outside
Ohio, I have participated in shows as far away as Boston, and even Nova Scotia.
When I go through a museum, each time I walk into a new room, I glance around to see which one piece
draws my attention. Then I try to understand what sets that work of art apart from the others. I hope that, from time
to time, one of my paintings will be the one that stands out.
