Notes: The bird was "frosty" overall which made it fairly easy
to pick out. It was considerably smaller than the Canada Geese with a
shorter neck and bill. The head appeared to be ball shaped while the
Canada geese had a more triangular shaped head. There was a hint of a
white
collar and the feather edgings were much more prominent.
Also in the flock was another "odd goose" but I lost track of it
while concentrating on the cackler. The other goose was mostly
greyish/brown (no
black "stocking" nor white cheek patch).
