Shadow came to us after a friend bred her female to Barney.  On viewing the pups at a couple of days old, a club member made the remark "There's a pup that will never see the show ring".  He was referring to the solid liver male - what a challenge!

Well, Shadow came home & hit the show ring.  He has a Breed win from the classes, a Specialty Best in Sweepstakes, he won his sweeps class at the Nationals, and was the Minnesota Brittany Club Dual Dog of the Year 1997 -  proving a well proportioned, good moving dog can win despite color and markings.

He's pointed in the field having been run a few times as a juvenile placing both puppy & derby.  He is intense & stylish on birds & has been extremely easy to work with. Bred to females from varying backgrounds, he is stamping his pups with his head type & body structure, plus his love of the field.  Shadow has become Bruce's constant companion & hunting buddy.  Thanks Dave - he may have never come home without your 'little push'!
