"Ming" Picks Stanford University! James "Ming" Johnson got accepted into Princeton, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Pomona College, Brown University, UC Santa Barbara and Pitzer College, all with full scholarships! All together, he was accepted into 11 major Universities! After endless hours of researching and agonizing over which school to pick,, he chose Stanford and is now a member of Stanford's class of 2012! He has begun his sophomore year and is living on campus. Needless to say, we are very proud of "Ming"! He has a bright future ahead of him!   ..... "Ming" on the Stanford campus. "Ming" in Big Sur 2008.     "Ming" loves sports, science, art, computers, travel, exotic cars, music, and mystery novels and he is quickly becoming a very creative mystery writer, song writer, guitarist, drummer and keyboardist! He frequently travels and has visited Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, Hawaii, Taiwan, Baja Mexico, mainland China, Korea, Thailand, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Monaco, Luxembourg, Canada and the US! Ming also holds a black belt in Shorinji Kempo Zen Martial Arts and was taught for seven years by a Zen Buddhist priest, 7th degree black belt master! Ming visited the historic Shaolin Temple in Henan, China in 2000, and received his black belt at age 12! Ming is tri-lingual: Thai, French & English and has won several academic awards and is now a Stanford University sophomore!   "Ming" in the recording studio.
