Join us as we take a day off for some fun! Golf with your own foursome or join forces with other bandsters for a day of laughs on the links. There'll plenty of special challenges and chances to win prizes along the way.

A fee of $40 includes green fees, cart, and some fabulous prizes to be awarded on Saturday Night. You can either pay the money to coordinator Ron Montgomery at the hotel when you arrive or at the golf course before you tee off. Rental clubs are available for a fee; please contact the Tijuana Golf and Country Club to reserve your rental clubs at 1-888-217-1165.

The tournament format will be a 4-person scramble. Space is limited, so sign up now in our Golf Registry. If you'd like to sponsor a hole or donate prizes please be sure to give us a call.

Avenue Revolution is the main district for shopping. Colorful stores display quality leather, silver, and ceramic goods for which Mexico is known. You can get some great deals if you know where to shop and how to bargain. Seasoned attendees will pool their collective knowledge about how to find the best buys and give us some pointers on how to purchase wonderful mementos from your visit to bring home and share with friends and family.

Last year some of the locals told us about about the annual People's Fair. A couple of us went and had an incredible time. There was a grandstand with dancing and singing; a beer garden; cuban cigars, food, and merchandise for sale. The smells were amazing, the sights astonishing—with lots of people from many classes. There is also a Cock Fighting arena where the roosters strut their stuff.

Our attendees said it was a wonderful cultural adventure... not your typical tourist activity because it's attended mostly by the locals. So we thought it would be fun to plan an outing for those staying over Sunday night. There may be a nominal entrance fee to the fair.
