Hotel Amenities
The hotel offers fine dining, 24-hour room service, a swimming pool, jacuzzi and color TVs in every room. The golf course is adjacent to the hotel, but if you want to play golf, you will have to make a reservation and pay the course fees. There are several restaurants at the Grande Hotel and many more within walking distance. For anyone craving good old fast food, there's a Wendy's across the street from the hotel.

Room Rates
We have reserved a block of rooms on the lower floors conveniently located near our Bash Hospitality Suite. There are also some rooms available on the upper, executive floors of the hotel.
Our group rates are $89.00 and $99.00 per night, plus tax.
At previous bashes, some folks booked rooms on the executive level because it offers a Hospitality Suite with additional amenities. This year our registration fee includes our very own exclusive Hospitality Suite with some of those same amenities—and it will be the place where most of us mingle during the weekend. The block of rooms on the lower levels are just as lovely as on the more expensive ones and much more convenient to where the bash action is taking place.

Room Sharing
Room sharing is a good option for folks who want to save money and get to know other bandsters. When you make a reservation, please be sure to include all the names of people who will be sharing the room. If other people are added subsequently, please inform the hotel of the additional names.
We've created a Room Mate Exchange on the Bandster Bash 2003 Yahoo Group. Just click Database on the group features panel on the left of the page and post a request.
Be thoughtful of your roommate. People show up occasionally without a room and look for places to crash. Don't invite another person to share your room without first asking if it's okay with your roommate and if it isn't, be gracious about it. If you are not comfortable with an unanticipated person in the room, speak up and say 'no'. While our group rates are reasonable, you shouldn't have to be cramped when you've spent this much money.
If you will each be needing a receipt, please ask in advance for separate receipts. The hotel can prepare separate bills after your stay, but don't wait until the shuttle van is idling in the driveway to handle this. You may each have to wait several minutes while they separate the charges and calculate each bill.
