Our Vision for the future

Since I first started this business 6 years ago, my vision for what is possible has been heavily influenced by the gifted and precious folks who have weaved through my life. Each one either knowingly or unwittingly has helped me to discover my true potential as a human being. One person has stood out from the crowd so intensely that our friendship has evolved into a commitment for sharing a common vision of serving and encouraging others for the rest of our lives together. I think most of you have met Vickie P. and would agree that she is a terrific person and certainly a true compliment to my life. Vickie shares the vision for BAMBAM Entertainment with me so strongly that on September 25th, 2007 we were married and begin to build our lives, our future and the future of BAMBAM Entertainment on a 35 acre farm in Hadley, PA! We are excited about all the possibilities this property offers as a peaceful environment for growing people through God's gift of music!! Let me share some of what we believe will come to fruition.

IMAGINE

The minute you pull in the drive way a wave of peacefulness swells around you and rocks you in its swaying arms. Rolling grassy fields splash against tall & mighty tree lines mixing different shades of green with a pale blue polka dotted sky. Instantly the world seems to slow its frenzied spin just a bit and you become aware that your breath and heart beat are keeping perfect rhythm . Your mind agrees as it relaxes and begins to absorb this tranquil atmosphere. An atmosphere that promotes learning, encouraging, self-discovery, achievement, friendship, mentorship, belief, dreams, imagination and wonder! This is a place you look forward to visiting each week!!

In the early days of this venture, the old farmhouse will double as our home and your studio / learning center. My gracious wife has eagerly agreed to open a large portion of our home to you with the same idea that has always been in place. The idea that you are all welcomed guests invited in like you were next of kin. The fridge will have a selection of soft drinks for you as usual and the kitchen will serve as a waiting area where you will find you can relax while you wait. You will also have access to the dining room next to the kitchen where you will be able to read a book, play games, help with homework or just stretch out on the couch and relax in peacefulness. Depending on the time of year, you will also have access to 35 acres of fields and woods where you can enjoy the outdoors in this serene countryside. As time streams by we will steadily be expanding not only our facilities but what you can do and learn while you are a part of the BAMBAM Entertainment Family. Let me now share with you some of the plan.

As I mentioned before, this property has loads of potential to build what I can only refer to now as a multi-- purpose talent and personal development center. This clumsy title certainly suggests the infancy of this project as well as the full range of it's scope. As with any other idea that has become a vision for a future direction, I am sure God will handle the details like nomenclature as we go along. Here is an overview of what we have in mind.

This will be a venue where you can learn more than just guitar & bass. We will offer many other aspects of the music business such as basic sound and lighting technique, live performance, songwriting, basic recording, etc. In addition to teaching these trades, we will also periodically hold information "picnics" on these subjects and bring in guest speakers many of whom have mentored me in the business over the years.

Any one who knows me understands that I am on a constant quest to improve myself and add quality to the world around me. Music in general has served me as a great conduit to express my heart, bond with others and challenge me to become better in all ways. We will be rolling new programs over the next few years that will help you do the same if you choose. These will be programs that take music and use it not only to help you achieve better musicianship but also help you become a better you!

While we are using the old farmhouse to both live in and share with you on your musical journey, we will immediately begin to research the restoration of our old barn. Once it is returned to a structurally sound condition, it will then be converted into the centerpiece. The old barn will be transformed into the place where it will all happen. It will house a small recording studio, a learning center for lessons, a conference / performance area with sound & lights, a relaxation / waiting area with kitchen and lounge all in the cozy surroundings of a building steeped in local history.

Outside, depending on the weather, you will be able to take quiet strolls on our nature trails. As you stroll you can pick a handful of wild raspberries or blackberries if you wish. You may choose to visit the corner woods where we will eventually have a small cabin and resting area. Maybe while you are waiting for your lesson or for someone who is taking a lesson you can take the rest of the family out to our oasis picnicking area and just enjoy the view.

One of the main ingredients in all of these wonderful and exciting plans is US……people!! We look forward to holding some really cool events a few times of the year such as bonfire sing- a - longs, campouts, hayrides, etc. These will be perfect times to keep up with old friendships while spawning new ones!!

Well, I am sure you can see what we are sooooo fired up about. You will probably concur that when you are standing on the edge of change, with your toe wiggling over the rim of it all, it can be kind of scary and just a little bit uncomfortable. But change will usually brings about great things. If you think about the many changes you have endured in your life, you will most likely agree.
