A winter sunset and aspens changing color in September. The major mountain ranges are
the Sangre de Christo mountains to the east, the Jemez to the west and the Sandia peaks to the south.
There are hiking trails from our home to downtown Santa Fe. The Dale Ball trail is a favorite with the locals. In the Sangre de Cristo mountains there are numerous trails ranging from easy to difficult. Frome
the Santa Fe ski basin, you may hike to the top of Santa Fe Baldy, which is 12,600 feet high.
