Rick Bailey has made music a part of his life since 1960. His musical career has taken him many places, both locally and on the road.
On New Year's Eve 2000, Rick performed with the Legends in Rock show at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Impersonators on the show performed as Ed Sullivan, Rod Stewart, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, and Rick performed as Eric Clapton.
Rick previously performed with other impersonators including Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zepplin, Santana, and Danny Gatton.
In June, 2000, Rick performed for a video taping on the Miami Valley Talent Showcase to be broadcast on Time Warner Cable. Rick was named the featured artist on the show which aired three times each week in prime time. Time Warner Cable broadcast the video for approximately six months to over 250,000 cable television subscribers.
Another of Rick's musical highlihts came when he performed as the guitarist for the national recording group, The Platters. Rick has also been the opening act for other recording artists such as: Bobby Blue Bland, The Kentucky Headhunters, David Allen Coe, Del Reeves, Roomful of Blues, The Bama Band, Duke Tomato, and The Osmond Brothers.
