- Sleep Sack
- Baby Bargains recommended this for infants. It lets you put
the baby in the crib with no blankets, thus reducing the chances
of SIDS. Speaking of which a portion of each purchase is donated
to the SIDS Alliance. It also made it easier to change her diaper at night.
- Diaper Champ by Baby Trend
- This is cheaper than the Diaper Genie because it uses kitchen
trash bags rather than a proprietary technology. We recommend putting a Glade plug-in nearby though after the baby
starts on solid foods. It is available at a lot of places including
Amazon.
- Graco Open Top Swing
- It doesn't matter as to which one, but the Graco Open Top means
that we didn't bang ours or the baby's head trying to get in and out of swing. There are a few at
Amazon.
- Fisher Price Bouncer
- Any one of them would be cool, but one with a continuous vibrating
mode would be nice.
Amazon has a few.
- Graco Pack 'N Play
- The one with the bassinet attachment worked out nicely
when we visited the grandparents.
Amazon again has a few of them.
- Philips InTouch Monitor and Intercom
- It also has a temperature monitor and is about $4-10 cheaper
than the Fisher-Price monitors, AND it has rechargeable batteries. Worked pretty well even thouh we have a few items running
at 2.4 GHz. You can check it out at
Target.
