MEDICAL GRANT RECIPIENTS 1

Over the years, the SVHS & SPCA has provided financial assistance for
many companion animals. Here are just as few of them.

CHELSEA needed surgery to repair a hernia and correct her eyelids (the eyelashes turned inwards). She was also spayed.

Two CHP officers rescued this cat, T.C., who was probably hit by a car. Following treatment he was found a new safe indoor home.

BECKY was diagnosed with Addison's disease and required expensive medication daily to treat the illness.

SMOKY had surgery to fix a broken leg. As you see he has a canine companion in his new home.

BEAU & BRUMMELL, two male litter mates, were neutered.

BUDDY recovered well
from necessary surgery.

CABO underwent cruciate knee surgery. Following several weeks of R & R she
was able to resume many of the outdoor activities she'd previously enjoyed
with her human companion.

PLATO, an 8 month old pup,
lay injured by the side of the freeway.
His injuries included a broken pelvis and tail and severe fractures in both rear legs. Due to the complexity of the fractures a specialist had to perform surgery and insert pins into the legs.
Plato made an excellent recovery and
now resides with his rescuers.
