I have been playing bass for over 27 years, all over the NJ/NY area. my playing has been heard everywhere from 105.5 FM, WDHA's homegrown spotlight, to 91.1 FM, WFMU's Music of Our Times, and broadcast live on Internet Real Audio, an appearance on NBC's "It's Showtime At The Apollo" with host Steve Harvey, also played on Finalist Jeffrey Schwartz's Top 5 entry into VH-1's 2004 Song of the Year Contest "Sunday Tears"




Performed in bands that hosted open jam nights at The Cove, The Waiting Room and Jammers. Over the years I have performed with: Rat Salad, Phoenix Rox, Tangence, Last Train Out, Travelin' Jones, Reno's Whorehouse (Musician Magazine's 1997 Best Unsigned Band Semi-Finalist), Rainbow Bridge (Showtime At The Apollo), Vintage, Bullet Train, The Stormy Weather Band, Visions, Erotomania, On the Rocks, and Queen of the Ryche ( filling in for original bassist Mike LePond of Symphony X while he was on the Gigantour '05 ) The Ramblin' Dawgs,playing both cover and original material in the same night.




Studied with Harry Leahey, Joe Macaro, Ron Naspo, attended engineering classes at the Institute of Audio Reasearch in NYC (1982) and also attended Berklee College of Music in Boston (1989), sharing an apartment with Alanis Morisette / Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney and Mighty Bosstones guitarist Larry Katz, Majoring in Music Production & Engineering and studying arranging with Jim Stinnet who also taught Phish's bassist Mike Gordon.




Performed at an array of clubs, like the Stone Pony, Kenny Castaways, CBGB's, The Lions Den, BB King's, Crossroads, The Wreck Room, Hogs & Heifers and many many others.




Opened for such artists as Rick Derringer at the USS Intrepid, and Glen Burtnick (Styx), all while honing my playing ability on 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12 string and synth basses, MOOG Taurus Pedals, keyboards and an occasional vocal while juggling instrumental chores. I am currently working to add The Chapman Stick to my instrumental abilities.
