Alan Bean's, "Reaching for the Stars." The original painting was re-created as a two story mural at the Astronaut Hall of Fame. This limited editon print run of 1,500 was created in 1997 as a fine art textured canvas, or giclee.

The original print contains 24 signatures from the Mercury - Gemini - Apollo era representing flights from Alan Shepard's first Mercury Redstone flight in 1961 through the ASTP flight in 1975.

This print, #590 of 1,500, has 30 signatures! I have been able to add 6 additional signatures. This modified image includes a signature representing every flight between Alan Shepard's Mecury shot in 1961 through the first Space Shuttle flight 20 years later, with the sole exception of Gus Grissom's Liberty Bell 7 Mercury flight in July of 1961.

This specific copy includes 10 of the 12 men who have walked upon the surface of the Moon. Seventeen of the twenty four men who have left the Earth and flown around the Moon.
